General information
Delete
To delete a message you sent:
- Find the message.
- Right click on their [username] or You.
- Select Delete:
INFO
For page messages, this will only delete the message for users currently on the page. If they've already exited the page, they won't receive the delete.
Ignore
To ignore all messages from a user:
- Right-click on their [username].
- Click the More Menu drop down:
- Select Ignore:
The user won't be notified you're ignoring them.
This hides but doesn't delete their messages. So you can always "unignore" them at a later time to view their messages, but you may have to restart the browser.
Try to only ignore users as a last resort.
History
Group and whisper messages are stored on the server and you can view the last 100 or up 7 days worth. This helps in case you're offline or having network issues.
Page messages are only available to the users on the page when they were sent. Once users close their browser, the messages should be gone.
IMPORTANT NOTE
All messages may be preserved on the server for at least 24 hours in case of reported inappropriate behavior or harassment.
